We are representing our client in the global technology and engineering space to look for an experienced Business Development Manager to complement the existing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and spearhead Public/ Government Service business development activities
- Plan, develop, and implement policies and strategies for the organization’s growth and diversification in the local market
- Drive efforts to expand market share within Singapore
- Conduct research and analysis of business opportunities, assess potential local markets, and develop projects for new marketing initiatives
- Evaluate projects through financial feasibility studies, market research, and planning
- Collaborate extensively with other departments on local projects and developments
- Provide strategic direction in business expansion based on a thorough understanding of business administration procedures and legal requirements
- Monitor the activities of external and internal parties to achieve business objectives
- Investigate the feasibility of setting up new business ventures to agreed business and legal standards
- Communicate and interact with government regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and protect the company’s interests
- Monitor relevant economic, financial, social, market, and administrative trends within Singapore
- Identify and evaluate products, services, or companies for potential distribution, mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures in the local market
- Conduct market research on local business potentials
- Explore licensing of products and acquisition of suitable companies through alliances, joint ventures, mergers, etc
Requirements
- Degree Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Experienced in financial reporting, systems, and analysis
- Proficient in software tools and financial modeling; experience is an advantage
- Outgoing, independent, and possesses strong people skills
- Excellent presentation and writing skills
- More than 10 years of experience in management reporting, accounting, or financial analysis
- Ability to interpret financial methodology
