We are representing our client, an established FMCG retailer, to look for a Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly group consolidation for the Group and its Interco reconciliations.
- Prepare quarterly consolidation package for reporting to shareholders.
- Perform bank compliance and covenants quarterly.
- Review GST filing for the holding entity quarterly.
- Review and approve payments for the holding entity.
- Liaise and manage statutory auditors and internal auditors to ensure smooth completion of group financial audit and finalise the completion of the Group and Company Financial Statement for year-end purposes.
- Liaise and coordinate finalisation of the Group Annual report to ensure timely AGM.
- Standardize Chart of accounts across all subsidiaries and ensure consistency of accounting treatment and policies across the Group for Dynamics 365.
- Provide advisory to subsidiaries on Group Policies, IFRS 16 to ensure correct accounting treatment of leases & its accounting principles.
- Liaise with tax agent and review the yearly corporate tax compliant and filing for the holding entity as well as take advantage of any tax benefits across group for set off.
- Liaise with Transfer Pricing consultant to perform yearly TP compliance documentation for the holding entity and its subsidiaries.
- Perform computation of management fees and royalty fees to subsidiaries for Recovery and annual cross charges.
- Maintain the HFM systems for any upgrade and users coaching for the BU Finance teams.
- Ensure that Internal Audit Reports are followed up and in compliance for annual follow up with auditors and BU Teams.
- Any other tasks allocated by the Group CFO – Projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance, preferably with CPA.
- At least 7 years of work experience from FMCG or Retail background.
- Experience in group consolidation work covering multiple regions and high number of legal entities.
- Well versed in MS Excel, ERP and reporting software D365 and Hyperion.
- Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, tax and transfer pricing and other accounting regulatory requirements highly essential.
- Meticulous, analytical, able to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
