We are representing our client in the global engineering space to search for an experienced electrical engineer to join them.
Responsibility
- Lead key electronics subjects including product testing, failure analysis, engineering improvements, and addressing quality and reliability issues.
- Developed detailed test plans and procedures; conducted hands-on testing for power supply products, circuits, and components.
- Collected test data, generated comprehensive test reports, and ensured proper documentation management.
- Designed automated test systems using both software and hardware.
- Conducted FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) to identify high-risk electronic designs, followed by evaluation tests and risk mitigation measures.
- Performed root cause analysis, identified failure mechanisms, and implemented corrective actions.
- Worked closely with cross-functional teams to support product lifecycle management and sustain product performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing, sustaining, manufacturing, or testing electronic products, preferably in power electronics.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS), including topology, characterization, testing, simulation, safety, and compliance regulations.
- Ability to interpret schematics and circuits, understand component functions, and analyze electrical stresses on components.
- Experienced in qualifying electronic components and systems, with a solid understanding of common processes and methods in electronics design and manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in environmental testing, test automation, and using lab equipment and instruments.
- Proficient with EDA tools, with a preference for knowledge in Altium.
- Familiar with Microsoft 365 tools including Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Strong technical writing skills and effective communication capabilities.
