We are representing our client, a large private Hospital, look for Application Manager to organize and lead IT projects through the various phases of project lifecycle. The IT projects primarily include Electronic Medical Record System and other clinical related management systems. He/She will work closely with the hospital and specialist clinic business users and vendors to successfully manage the systems implementation and maintenance. He/She will be responsible in managing the project timeline, budget, scope and resources; serve as the interface between Hospital departments and lead cross functional teams both internal and external.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and mentor reporting staff for all project related matters;
- Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the project plan, scope, schedule, budget and status reports for assigned projects;
- Plan and manage implementation and integration of new technologies;
- Involve and lead in procurement activities such as but not limited to submitting of project approval paper to the management, drafting Grant paper if necessary, RFP process and review of contract/agreement with vendor;
- Ensure compliance to quality standards and reviews project deliverables;
- Conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis;
- Proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential issues, and device contingency plans
- Perform impact analysis and evaluate efforts needed to all enhancements/changes requested by end-user. Advise user or make recommendations to address their needs
- Manage multiple project teams and resources towards project successes;
- Coordinate status reports, resource management, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and ensures collaboration across all teams;
- Identify and track risks, issues, requirements, and all project documentation deliverables;
- Assume leadership of cross functional teams to drive results that align with strategic company goals.
- Establish and maintain a well-communicated schedule for all phases of a project lifecycle
- Manage scope creep through meetings, internal change orders or other method to help ensure projects deliver on time, scope, budget and strategy expectations;
- Responsible for project closures on all project deliverables;
- Identify, track, manage and mitigate risk. Escalates issues when necessary to ensure minimal impact to project completion;
- Display sound judgement in all project communication;
- Ensure proper documentation of business requirements and hardware and software requirements
- Provide ongoing support to new IT business requirements;
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure vendors fulfill per contract requirements
- Maintain and update the quality records according to the standard guidelines on identification, filing, storage, maintenance, and disposition of these records.
Requriements
- Recognized Professional Certificate/Diploma/Advance/Higher/ Graduate Diploma/Degree in IT or equivalent
- PMP Certification or CITPM will be advantages
- More than 10 years of working experience with at least 3 years of project management experience in similar capacity
- Have successfully implemented healthcare related IT systems
- Good knowledge in web application architecture and framework
- Good knowledge of project management both waterfall and agile include managing contracts, project budgets, work breakdown structures, and systems integration
- Good skills in MS Project, MS Visio, MS excel and other job related applications
- Interpersonal and leadership skills to manage multiple projects at one time with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills to present project status to senior level management
- Demonstrated experience in systems integration
