We are representing our client in the Shipping industry to look for a Business Analyst / Junior Product Owner to join the project team for a 1-year assignment. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and support established Product Owners in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and contributing to the development of cutting-edge shipping and logistics products.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business and product requirements in support of established Product Owners.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive informed decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Product Ownership Support: Assist established Product Owners in defining product roadmaps, prioritize feature development, and communicate product requirements to the development team.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure that products meet quality standards and user expectations.
- User Support: Provide support to end-users, resolve issues, and gather feedback to enhance the user experience.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, user stories, and product specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferably minimum 2 years’ of relevant working experience.
- Preferably knowledge of the container shipping industry or logistics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, especially SCRUM, and the product development lifecycle is a plus.
- Proficiency in tools such as, Excel, SQL, and Azure Devops is preferred.
- Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
