CORPORATE BANKING RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (LOCAL LARGE & GLOBAL CORPORATES)

We are representing our client, an established large chinese bank, to look for a senior Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to manage and build a portfolio of local large and global corporate customers.

Responsibilities

  • Call on C-suite executives, Finance Director and Treasurer to form and deepen relationship and proactively respond to, uncover and anticipate future needs, roadblocks or risks.
  • Work with product specialist and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients’ needs.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet.
  • Maximize client experience by sharing market updates, trend and intelligence proactively.
  • Drive innovation in the solutions we provide clients and further develop business where necessary and appropriate.
  • Network with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities.
  • Administrate the credit relationship of the client (including but not limited to preparing term sheet, credit proposals and credit review, implementation of the credit terms and conditions, servicing of client’s day-to-day needs, operation of internal systems, etc.), coordinate and supervise the entire process, ensuring the proper application of the Bank’s policies and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the Bank’s policies/guidelines at all times.
  • Proactively protect the Bank’s assets and reputation by being the first line of defence from risk management perspective.
  • Responsible to meet the KPIs.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager, including managing MNCs, regional treasury centers and/or large corporates.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
  • Strong ability to build contact and establish internal procedures for MNC products offering.
  • Wide spectrum of product knowledge from DCM to treasury products as well as documentation (ISDA, pitch book, IM).
  • Sound credit and financial analysis skill as well as problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing / negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and under pressure while making decision.
