We are representing our client, an international school based in Singapore to look for an experienced HR professional to lead the existing team.
Responsibilities
- To oversee all day-to-day HR operational and administrative matters (recruitment, talent management, compensation & benefits, learning & development and performance management.)
- Partner with the Senior Team, to meet organizational goals in recruitment, staffing and onboarding of teaching and support staff to support strategic school development.
- Oversee all staff health insurance and work injury compensation matters
- Oversee leave and attendance management for all staff.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
- Facilitate the annual performance review for all staff.
- Manage all procedures relating to Workpasses (e.g. Employment Pass/S-Pass/Work Permit/Dependent Pass) and LOC applications
- Develop and review structured onboarding program for new hires.
- Develop and execute work improvement measures to deliver employed focused experience.
- Develop training roadmap and L&D activities for support staff, leveraging on government grants.
- Manage government training grant administrations and ensure timely training grant disbursement.
- Oversee HR audits and licensing requirements including data submission and reporting
- Submission of periodic and annual staffing reports, salary benchmarking statistics, etc for the Senior Team’s review and analysis.
- Annual review of Support Staff Employee Handbook and HR policies/procedures with recommendations to senior team
- Leverage on social media and other interactive recruitment techniques to build positive employer branding.
- Identify and manage employee wellness programs, leveraging on government grants/subsidies.
- Identify, develop and implement efficient and functional HRIS system to manage employee data, automate processes and streamline reporting.
- Provide guidance and counselling to line managers and employees on employee relations issues and performance related issues.

Requirements
- Bechalor Degree above in Human Resource Management or related diciplines.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar capacity working within a school or other education environment
- Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Adaptable to changes and willing to multitask
- Ability to deal with confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
- Prior work experience in an international school environment will be preferred though not essential
