We are representing our client, an established FMCG retailer, to look for a Sales Operations Area Manager to lead and manage a group of Store Managers in achieving business objectives and delivering an exceptional retail experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, operational excellence, and service standards across all stores within the assigned area.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Store Managers to achieve area business plans, KPIs, and budgetary goals.
 - Oversee daily store operations to ensure effective execution of company initiatives and compliance with policies and procedures.
 - Drive financial and operational results, focusing on sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
 - Motivate and support Store Managers to deliver outstanding retail and service experiences.
 - Analyze reports and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective action plans.
 - Evaluate store performance, workflow, and retail environments to propose and execute business enhancement initiatives.
 - Ensure compliance with company standards to protect assets, people, and brand reputation.
 - Monitor competitor activities and surrounding retail environments to identify growth and improvement opportunities.
 - Identify and nurture high-potential employees within store teams as part of succession planning.
 - Serve as a role model for professionalism, strong work ethics, and a sales-driven mindset with a lair for creativity.
 - Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
 
Job Requirements
- Diploma holder with a strong passion for retail management.
 - Minimum 3 years of operational experience in a similar capacity in the Retail industry.
 - Demonstrated strong leadership qualities with proven people management experience.
 - Confident, self-driven, and results-oriented with a “hands-on” approach.
 - High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.
 - Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and sound judgment.
 - Excellent communication (spoken and written), interpersonal, and coaching skills.
 - Effective in planning, organizing, and executing area-level initiatives.
 - Meticulous, resourceful, and adaptable in a dynamic retail environment.
