We are representing our client (A Software Engineering Firm) to look for Senior/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to complement their existing team. Candidates with more experience can be considered for senior roles.
Responsibilities
- Define, deploy and manage cloud-based workloads, security and compliance controls.
- Monitor, analyse and identify infrastructure for vulnerabilities, and applying appropriate mitigations and resolution.
- Implementing and maintaining cloud security measures, such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Managing cloud resources and provisioning capacity as needed
- Troubleshooting issues and providing technical support to end-users
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that improve cloud-based applications and services
- Regularly review existing services and keeping up to date with industry trends and new cloud offerings
- Propose and recommend enhancements and new capabilities.
- Troubleshooting and patching OS such as Microsoft Windows (2016/2019), Red Hat Enterprise Linux (8/7/9), Microsoft Windows 10/11
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering/ relevant field with proven technical knowledge and expertise.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Proficient in application such as Microsoft Active Directory, Apache, Microsoft IIS
- Experienced in Backup (Veritas, Symantec NetBackup), Firewall, Network appliance and Cybersecurity products
- Experienced with AWS and Azure infrastructures
- Cloud certifications like AWS, Azure or GCP will be preferred
- Experienced in installation, configuration, scripting, administration and investigation tasks in the cloud platform.
- Strong knowledge in managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server
