TEAM LEAD – CORPORATE CREDIT ANALYST

We are representing our client, a large Chinese bank, to look for a Team Lead to lead a team of Corporate Credit Analysts.

Responsilities

  • Perform credit review for due diligence reports of corporate customers and responsible for: review whether the case complies with relevant regulation and the bank’s policy, highlight the main risks, put forward risk control measures, determine the customer group overall credit risk and conduct customer credit rating etc.
  • Coordinate with team members to complete credit analysis reports on time and meet quality requirement. Assist the department management with staff management, cultivating and developing credit analysis experts specialized in relevant sectors.
  • Provide opinion for credit files reported to the pre-trial committee.
  • Conduct industry research and revise the relevant approval guidelines.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and put forward effective risk control recommendations for customers with early warning signals.
  • Manage and coordinate business relationship between Credit Analyst team and other teams within Risk Management Department, as well as the relevant business department.
  • Support internal and external audit tasks as well as regulatory reporting requirements. Support management information reporting regarding customers and credit cases.
  • Complete any other work assignment given by the department management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accountancy or related majors.
  • Applicant with FRM, CA and/or ACCA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in credit analysis of corporate clients (in particularly, clients in the commodities sector) with strong experience in trade and structured trade financing.
  • Experience as a team lead and/or experience providing guidance to junior credit analysts.
  • Skilled in financial statements analysis and understand banking credit facilities and review requirements of financing products.
  • Strong financial and credit risk analysis and management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility and leadership ability.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese as the incumbent is required to liaise with Chinese counterparts in Head Office.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
