We are representing our client, an established large Chinese bank, to look for a Custody Product Manager for its Financial Institution Department, to oversee custody business development and participate in projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client relationship relating to custody business and future fund account business, by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Main contact person to liaise with Head Office Custody team. Understand strategic business direction, and collaborate with front office stakeholders to achieve business targets.
- Articulate clearly on client’s requirements and propose implementation of customised custody operating model.
- Propose fee quotation and project client’s potential revenue generation based on client’s portfolio.
- Engage internal stakeholders to line up the book of work, taking business priorities into consideration and driving timely delivery across lines of businesses.
- Perform a critical role and partner with core teams to lead time sensitive sales programmes effectively while managing both business and technology stakeholders to help capitalise on best deliverables to grow the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- More than 10 years of working experience including more than 4 years of experience in sales activities relating to custody, fund accounting and/or securities/fund operations in the banking/brokerage sector.
- Ability to conduct market research.
- Excellent report writing skill.
- Highly adaptable with the ability to handle stress in a fast paced environment and be an efficient team manager.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong in written and spoken English and Chinese as the incumbent would need to liaise with Chinese speaking stakeholders.
